Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. Six pieces of information are enough: gender, birthdate, general health status, tobacco use, desired coverage, and term length. That's it to get rates. Your actual name, address, and medical records only come into play if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates carriers quote for the health tier you chose. Once they underwrite you, they'll confirm, adjust, or change that tier, and your actual premium depends on their decision. This site shows estimates, not binding offers or price guarantees.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, the application builds from the specific quote you selected, then switches to the carriers' secure platform. You can walk away and return later, and your signature is done online. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by insurer, coverage amount, and your health profile. Carriers offering immediate decisions can approve eligible applicants without testing; every quote on this site notes whether the carrier needs an exam, might ask for one, or doesn't need one.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term that spans the years your family would struggle without you: a home loan, young children, business debt. Longer terms raise the monthly cost but freeze your rate longer. Use the quote tool to stack 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
Correct. The quote form doesn't request contact information, we don't trade or share what you tell us, and our traffic counting is cookieless. Head to the privacy page for the full rundown of what gets recorded and who touches it.
